STUDENTS at a Forest school handed over £1,755 to the Cancer Research shop in Coleford, which they raised last term with a Race for Life event.

The pupils, all from Forest High School in Cinderford, ran or walked 5km around the school grounds to raise the money.

Head of Key Stage Three at the school, Pauline Brain, said: “ We were over the moon with such an amazing amount raised by all the students for such a great cause.”
