ENTRIES for the annual Soudley Flower and Vegetable Show were up again this year as were the number of exhibitors, said organiser Jeff Sandford.
"Judging by the full hall in the afternoon overall attendance was up on last year too," he said. "We made £790.93 which will go to the Village Hall Fund."
Winners of the major trophies were:

Farmer & Clark Trophy (runner up) – Anna Spicer and Pete Smith (tied)
Bevan Trophy (highest points in domestic section) – Anna Spicer

The Village Cup (highest points in Fruit and Veg) – Pete Smith
The White Horse Inn Trophy (highest points in home made wine section) – John Stacey

"We were delighted that Brian Davis, who has contributed so much to the village over the years, presented the prizes," said Jeff.
