The Review are delighted to have a family ticket to the Forest of Dean Model Railway Club’s Model Railway Show as the prize in this week’s competition.
The Forest of Dean Model Railway Club is holding their annual Model Railway Show at the Dean Academy (previously Whitecross school), Lydney, on Saturday 28th (open 11am – 5pm) and Sunday 29th September 2019 (10am – 4pm).
There will be over 20 layouts on show in all different scales (including actual model live steam powered trains), and there will be trade stands selling their latest wares. Refreshments on site will provided by The Baguette Stop of Coleford.
Prices on the door are: Adults £5.00, Children under 16 £2.00, under 5’s are free. A great value family ticket is available (2 adults + 3 children) for £12.00. The site is wheelchair friendly and parking is free.
The Forest of Dean Model Railway club are based in Drybrook (near Cinderford) and welcome members from all ages to come and build, maintain and operate model railways.
