GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident on the A48 at Newnham-on-Severn on Sunday December 4.

It’s been reported that the red Citroen, travelling northbound out of Newnham, overtook a red coloured Nissan 4x4, possibly a ‘Juke’ model, and collided with a silver BMW 320 travelling in the opposite direction. The BMW spun in the road. Both cars were damaged on the driver’s side.

Officers would like to talk to the driver and/or passengers of a red coloured Nissan 4x4 (possibly a ‘Juke’ model) that was overtaken by the red Citroen or anyone else in the area who witnessed the incident or who has further information. The incident happened around 4pm.
