WALLACE and Gromit are urging people from around the Forest to put on some "wrong trousers" for a zumba fundraiser this Friday (April 1).
The event is being hosted by AH-HA Zumba at 6.30pm, at Severnbanks Primary School in Lydney.
All profits raised will go towards children’s hospitals and hospices nationwide. You can choose to dress up in whatever you want: from sports shorts to jogging bottoms, disco flares to printed pyjamas, and chef’s trousers to skinny jeans.
AH-HA Zumba is Amanda Chard and Hannah Barton, both from Lydney, who became friends while attending Zumba sessions, they have since gone on to qualify as instructors themselves and have been holding sessions throughout the Forest Of Dean for over a year.
Cash raised by the event goes to Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Charity, which supports sick babies and children in Bristol, as well as elsewhere in the UK.
Amanda said: "Our Zumba sessions are different to others as we tend to concentrate on having fun, and plenty of "wiggles and giggles."
"This charity is close to some members of the group and fits in well with the fun theme we encourage with our sessions, basically as long as you are moving around then you are doing it right."
