THE 20-year-old biker who was killed in an accident at Pontypool last Saturday had just moved to Undy to make a new life for himself.
Luke Grace had lived in the Mitchel Troy area of Monmouth for most of his life, but suffered fatal injuries when his bike collided with a dark coloured Ford Fiesta on the McDonald's roundabout early on Saturday evening.
While Luke had been riding off-road motorbikes since his early teenage years, he only took up biking as a means of getting around in October last year.
Luke, who attended both Monmouth and Chepstow Comprehensive Schools, was about to start work on the railways with HSS at Rogiet next week after moving to Undy in April.
Paying tribute, his family said: "All of Luke's family and friends are totally devastated at losing Luke, he was a big hearted, loving son with fire in his belly.
"He was devoted to his girlfriend Bryonne and loved life, he was about to start a new job next week with his father Mark. We miss him dearly."
Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at 6.05pm is asked to call the Gwent Police Collision Investigation Unit on 01633 642404.
