HE may be best remembered as second-hand car salesman Boycie in the hit sitcom Only Fools and Horses but actor John Challis was doing a good trade in books when he visited Lydney on Saturday.

John brought along copies of his autobiography Being Boycie when he appeared at Party in the Park.

This was the third ‘party’ organised by Lydney Town Council and a day of attractions included local bands, dance schools, a petting zoo and even a puppet show by the King’s Arms Church.
