THE 1st Yorkley Brownies have moved into the new community hall in Yorkley and already have lots of plans up their sleeve.
While the finishing touches were put to the Lottery-funded building, the Brownie pack met in Pillowell Methodist Chapel.
Volunteer leaders Emma Steel and Dawn Parry have been pleased to welcome three other adult volunteers and two young leaders.
The Brownies, who have members from Yorkley, Lydney, Blakeney and Pillowell, have lots of plans for their new home including archery, indoor and outdoor cooking, swimming, crafts, interest badges, games nights, day trips and residential trips.
The group has a few spaces left for seven to 10 year-old girls and already has younger girls on the waiting list. For more details visit http://www.girlguiding.org.uk">www.girlguiding.org.uk
