VERY recently I travelled to West Wales, London and Surrey by National Express train (and earlier to Indonesia by air).
All services were on time and in the case of National Express there was a check that all who wanted to travel were on board.
I got back to Gloucester last Wednesday to get the number 23 bus to Lydney and hopefully catch the last bus (4.30pm) to Alvington. The 23 was slightly delayed by traffic and arrived at Lydney a minute or two late so I found myself stranded at that 'late' hour as the James Bevan 755 had just pulled out.
With a heavy bag, I had to call a taxi to get back to Alvington. Surely the bus company/drivers have the nous to think about people trying to connect buses – or are they just trying to show reducing passenger numbers?
– Angry from Alvington.
