CHEPSTOW Tourist Information Centre (TIC) will stay open until November 10.
Monmouthshire County Council says the centre in Bridge Street will be open from 10am until 3pm each day.
It’s good news for walkers and those using coach tour operators who wish to find out more information about the walking festival programme and trek along the four long distance routes starting in Chepstow to Offa’s Dyke National Trail.
Cllr Bob Greenland (Con, Wolvesnewton) Cabinet member with responsibility for tourism, said: “Delivering a positive experience to visitors is the most effective and sustainable form of marketing, as it generates repeat visits and recom-
mendations to family and friends, and it’s recognised that Chepstow TIC contributes significantly to the enjoyment of a short break or holiday in this location.”
Council officers are looking at partnership opportunities over the coming months for a visitor information service in Chepstow beyond November.
