New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of the Forest of Dean’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Aviator Enterprises Ltd, a pub, bar or nightclub at Black Dog Inn, Church Street, Newent, Gloucestershire was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 2.

And Lamproom Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Clearwell Caves, The Rocks, Clearwell, Coleford was also given a score of five on October 30.
