TWO separate businesses have come up with offers to help parents whose children have lost out after the unexpected closure of Little Follies.

The Forest's largest indoor play area mysteriously closed about two weeks ago and the Review understands some parents who booked for parties in advance have lost their deposits.

Lee Miles of Scallywags Castle in Caldicot said: "We were sorry to hear about Little Follies. Anybody out there who has paid a deposit, rather than lose the party we'll stand the cost of the deposit if they come to us – with the deposit receipt of course."

Meanwhile Beccy Borck, the manager of the Angel Hotel in Coleford has offered to host cancelled parties.

"My children loved the Little Follies and they have been to lots of birthday parties there. We were all so shocked that it has had to shut down. My daughter, Freya, asked 'will it not be open again? What about if you're going to have a party there?'"

"I spoke to my partner, Ben, and we decided that we wanted to try and help those parents by seeing what we can do to accommodate any of the cancelled parties here at the Angel."
