SINGER Hannah Berney impressed two of the biggest names in the business to win a spot on TV talent show The Voice.
Hannah, of Pwllmeyric, fired the interest of Sir Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue, the frontman of Irish band The Script.
She performed Lady Gaga's You and I in the blind audition screened last Saturday.
The 21-year-old then had to choose between Sir Tom and Danny to be her mentor for the series.
She said: "It was a really difficult decision but I was really excited by what Danny had to say and I think it will be great to move forward with him."
Hannah is a former pupil of Wyedean School and sang locally with her band Crash and Berney.
She is currently studying French and history at Exeter University but hopes to become a full-time singer.
She said: "I've always loved music and being on The Voice is a fantastic opportunity to realise my dream."
