A TEAM of Forest rugby players, their mates and families got tied up with fund-raising on Saturday (August 21).
The lads from Bream RFC held their second social which involved a three-legged race around the village for Great Oaks Hospice.
Around 100 people entered with costumes including the Flintstones, the Pink Ladies from Grease, some traffic cones, bacon and eggs and the blokes from an old TV ad for directory enquiries.
Even former President Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un got together to make up a team.
Bream player Liam Brady, who helped organise the event, explained: "It’s an annual race and there are 14 stops with a can on each stop.
"Half of the proceedings go to Great Oaks and there is a band at the club afterwards.
"Massive thanks to Julie James, Stan Hardy,Sean James and the rest of the committee members because without them we would not be able to run it."
The clubhouse in Bream High re-opened for the first time in 18 months for the event.
There was also a barbecue and music was provided Damaged Goods.
The day raised £375 for Great Oaks Hospice.
