GREAT Oaks Hospice is looking to help people further afield with its latest appeal.

The Coleford-based hospice is hoping people will donate their old bras which will be sent to developing countries.

Sally Taylor, of Great Oaks, said: “February 4 was World Cancer Day and to acknowledge that we came up with the idea of Feb-bra-uary.

“We want people to bring in their old bras and we will send them to Third World charities who support women who have had breast cancer or don’t have access to underwear.

“We are doing it to benefit women and to give support in a wider way.”

Bras can be taken to reception at Great Oaks in The Gorse, Coleford until the end of the month.
