CAN anyone tell me how much longer we have to put up with disgusting state of the road on the Forest Vale industrial estate and through Steam Mills Road through to the A4136? Lorries leaving the new workings for the Northern Quarter are depositing orange mud everywhere – they have a road sweeper running along the road but that is just making the problem worse by spreading the mess further.

What is needed is an on-site wheel wash so the lorries are clean as they leave the site.

Will it take an accident caused by a vehicle skidding on the mud before any action is taken?

I work on the industrial estate and have to put up with this mess everyday. It is not acceptable.
