MAGOR-based AB In-Bev brewery unveiled a new warehouse large enough to house two million bottles of beer last week.
The site in Magor is the largest in the UK and manufactures Budweiser and Stella Artois.
John Tudball, project manager for the build, said: “We worked with a south Wales construction company on the project which generated 14 jobs through an entirely local supply chain and on-site assembly. The community in Magor has been critical to the successful completion of this project.”
Local MP Jessica Morden and local Assembly Member John Griffiths visited AB In-Bev’s Magor Brewery recently to open the new facility.
Ms Morden said: “The brewery is an important part of the community in Magor so it’s great to see AB In-Bev’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact whilst also supporting local employment.”
