VINTAGE power enthusiasts presented a cheque for £1,000 to the Wales Air Ambulance.

The Caldicot-based Antique Power Group organises the annual Monmouth Mooch of vintage tractors from Chepstow Racecourse around the Wye Valley.

Chairman of the group, Garry Whitehouse said: “The money raised from the Monmouth Mooch goes to charity, and this year it is the Wales Air Ambulance which is very worthy of support.

“The club was formed in 2007 to bring together people who had an interest primarily in agricultural vehicles and equipment.

“Since then it has been extended to include antique equipment, motor and commercial vehicles and motorcycles.”

The club meets at Dewstow Golf Club in Caldicot.
