THIEVES appeared to have made a clean getaway with a £5,000 ride on lawn mower in an overnight break-in.

Police are investigating the burglary of a barn workshop in Trellech, which also saw a Wolf Power 2400 generator worth another £300 and tools and a wacker plate stolen.

The offence took place at the outbuilding overnight last Thursday to Friday (October 4 to 5).
