POLICE are probing two burglaries and a car break-in in the Ross-on-Wye area.

An intruder entered a home in the town’s Ryefield Road between 6.20pm and 7.28pm on Friday, December 29, and stole a mobile phone from a hallway table.

The following day around 12 noon, a handbag was stolen from a parked car near to a house in Aston Crews between Ross and Newent,

Officers are also investigating two men breaking into barns at Weston-under-Penyard around 11pm on Monday, December 18. Nothing was stolen, but fencing was damaged by the offenders.
