PUPILS parents and staff at Yorkley Primary School will be saying a fond farewell to head teacher David Swinyard when he retires this term.
Mr Swinyard has been head at Yorkley for more than 20 years, and his connections with Yorkley go back much further as he attended Yorkley School himself as a pupil in the 1950s.
He is seen here with some pupils showing his successor, Mrs Liz Harris round the school.
Mrs. Harris is currently a deputy head teacher in Hampshire and will be taking up her appointment at Yorkley in September.
