A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with drink driving after a Honda Civic car overturned in an early morning crash near Ross-on-Wye.

A woman passenger, also 19, was taken to Hereford County Hospital with a suspected broken leg after emergency services raced to the scene of the crash around 1.30m on Saturday (November 4) at Bulls Hill between Walford and Ross.

West Mercia police said she had also sustained a head injury, but her condition was not thought to be life threatening.

Harry Perkins, who is from Sellack near Ross-on-Wye, has been charged with drink driving and has been bailed to appear at Hereford Magistrates' Court on Thursday, November 23.

An ambulance and one paramedic officer attended the incident, alongside a fire crew from Ross-on-Wye and officers from West Mercia Police.
