PUPILS at St Anthony's School, Cinderford, who belong to sections of the Guide and Scout Association wore their uniform to school for their annual Thinking Day.
The World Thinking Day theme for 2012 was "We can save our planet", and the aim was to raise awareness of the environment and the impact all our lifestyles and choices have on it.
World Thinking Day was first created in 1926 and February 22 was chosen as the date because it was the mutual birthday of Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scout Movement, and his wife Olave, who served as World Chief Guide.
Head teacher Julie James said: "I was delighted to see so many of our pupils wearing their uniform with pride. These organisations do so much great work with young people all over the world and we wanted to do our bit to recognise it in this very simple way."
