LOCAL photographer Tracey Clements, of Wye Valley Studios in Caldicot, has recently won an Award of Excellence in the prestigeous Master Photographers Association National and International Awards.

Tracey had five merits in the awards, which were three in the Cherubs Baby Photographer of the year, and two in the Pets and Livestock category.

Her photograph of two German Pointers, owned by Mrs Judith Gill of Perfect Doggy Daycare in Llanvaches, was awarded an Award of Excellence, and got through to the top three for the whole of the UK and Ireland. She picked up her award at a glittering awards ceremony in Hinckley in Leicestershire which was attended by photographers from all over the world.
