A DRIVER from Cinderford escaped serious injury after her Ford Fiesta Zetec overturned and collided with a lamp post on Monday morning.
Police attended the scene near Pygmy Pinetum crossroads on Speech House Road at 9.30am where they had to cut a 21-year-old woman from the vehicle.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said a Ford Fiesta Zetec came off the road and overturned and collided with a lamp post. There were no passengers or other vehicles involved in the incident.
A spokesman at South West Ambulance Service said an air ambulance landed at the scene but was not used. The woman had minor injuries and was taken to Frenchay Hospital by ambulance.
The road was closed for two hours and reopened at 12pm.
