A TRIO of MonRoss Trailbazers joined a 2,222-strong field for the 39th Eryri Marathon in North Wales. The 26.2 mile course from Snowdon Mountain Railway includes over 2,000ft of ascent, up Pen y Pass, around Beddgerlert, and up and over Wayne Fawr for a steep descent back into Llamberis. 

Gavin Jones was 185th in 3 hours 32, Andrew Stephens 635th in 4.12 and Gary Griffiths 1,500th in 5.08 on his debut marathon.
